These actions will help make a difference to people who desperately want to get out of their current housing situation and into a stable, secure, comfortable, home of their own. Where they can grow roots in the neighborhood, have a feeling they belong somewhere, and will become an asset to their community.

Our vision is to convert charitable donations of building materials into cash for use by Teller County Habitat for Humanity to construct simple, decent, affordable homes. We set a high standard for stewardship of God’s resources in Teller County by helping to divert and recycle thousands of tons of usable material from being deposited into local landfills.

The world is experiencing a global housing crisis. In the United States alone, 95 million people have housing problems. Clean, decent, and stable housing provides more than just a roof over someone’s head. Housing is a great means of wealth creation. Good housing attracts economic investment and development.
